I was once where you are now.

Finance was tight, bills kept coming and my career was out of my hands - my boss, his boss, the economy, the government - all had a bigger say on my future than I did. I was stressed out! Then one day I had a thought that nearly knocked me over - I realised that I was worried about losing a job I didn't even want!

Finally the day I was waiting for came and I opened the doors of my home salon. All of my friends and family were cheering me on. It was one of the happiest days of my life.

My home salon grew day by day, week by week. There was blood, sweat and occasional tears. But you know what? My worst day running my home salon was better than my best day before I followed my dream.

Eventually I closed my home salon for the best possible reason - I moved my salon business to a dedicated salon on our local main street. My "mini empire" was growing!
